A small family business on Snæfellsnes
The farm Lýsuhóll is in West Iceland, on the south coast of the Snæfellsnes peninsula — which many Iceland experts consider the most beautiful part of the country.
Snæfellsnes is characterised by a huge variety of landscapes, and the glacier Snæfellsjökull, with its nearly magical attraction, gives it a very special charm.
Lýsuhóll is a small family business. We offer accommodation in cosy little cottages and a new guesthouse with double and single rooms, as well as short rides and riding tours from one hour up to many days.
Come and discover the landscape — mountains, the sea, colourful sandy beaches, the glacier, rivers, lakes and lava flows — on foot, on horseback, by bike or by car, and admire nature’s fascinating shapes and colours.
We are looking forward to greeting you here at Lýsuhóll and helping you experience Iceland on a close and personal level.
